Login Problems?

General

The most likely cause of not being able to log in or use the site (apart from forgetting passwords) is the browser setup, as a minimum Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 is required to ensure that you get the most from the site. However versions later than 7 of Internet Explorer are fine to use. You should have javascript enabled and you should allow session cookies. There is also a known problem with Microsoft ISA proxy server. If you access the internet via ISA Server you should make modifications as recommended by Microsoft here

It is always a good idea to make sure you have the latest updates and security patches for Internet Explorer and your operating system

Registered commercial users

If you are a registered commercial user you will have been issued a Member ID. You must use this Member ID, together with your username and password, to gain access to the correct registered database.

If you have forgotten your password you will need to contact your systems administrator who should have the necessary privileges to change your password and/or unlock your account. If this isn't possible then you'll need to fax (01733 313 256) a request on company headed paper, and it should include the following information;

I hereby grant Webroster permission to reset the password for [USERNAME] on member id [MEMBERID]

signature
printed name
position within company

This fax should be countersigned by an idividual whom holds a suitable position within the company.  The password change request can not be countersigned by the same individual as to whom the account belongs to.  Unfortunately we can not carry out resets without a fax on company headed paper - this is for security reasons.  If you are working from home then you will need to arrange the fax with your head-office.

If you have forgotten your password or username or are still having problems logging in you should try re-registering. This is quite quick. Since the trial database is publicly available, data may be deleted or changed in a way that requires us to regenerate or restore a previous copy. This may result in the loss of temporary registered usernames. If you still cannot log in, please contact support.
